Confidence of the future

I had feelings of fear about the future…The devil kept on whispering, ”It’s all right now, but what about afterward? You are going to be very lonely”….And I turned to my God in a kind of desperation and said “Lord, what can I do? How can I go on to the end?” And He said, “None of them that trust in Me shall be desolate.” That word has been with me ever since.

Unbelief

None but the Lord himself can afford us any help from the awful workings of unbelief, doubting, carnal fears, murmurings. Thank God one day we will be done forever with unbelief.

To win the war against fear

To win the war against fear, we must know the true God as He is revealed in the Bible. He works to give us lasting peace. He receives joy, not from condemning us but in rescuing us from the devil. Yes, the Lord will bring conviction to our hearts concerning sin, but it is so He can deliver us from sin’s power and consequences. In its place, the Lord works to establish healing, forgiveness and peace.
